Greece. It appears to be confirmed, that the celebrated Odysseus, disgusted with the Greek government, had gone over to the island of Negropont, with 1500 men, and united his destinies with those of the Crescent.
This defection is noticed in the Greek papers, with inferences that it will eventually benefit the Grecian States as much as the defection of Arnold did those of the United States during the American struggle for independence.
