MILLER HORSES SOLD WELL.
NEW YORK, Oct. 21.—A cablegram from France to Andrew Miller, of the Millstream Stud Farm, yesterday, conveyed the news that the stallion Adam and the twenty-three brood mares that had been sent abroad, had been sold for $97,000. The sale took place near Paris. Adam brought $58,000 or $7,000 less than he cost. But as his stud fees of $1,000 had passed to the credit of his owners they counted him a fine investment. The twenty-three mares averaged $1,740 each.
