Four Persons Die When Auto Skids, Plunges Into Canal

MIAMI- (INS) - Four persons -three children and their 86-year- old grandfather-died in Miami Saturday when their car plunged into a canal.

The parents of the children were saved by 29-year-old, Thasseus Pond of Key West. Pond jumped into the canal and pulled the parents free.

The victims were Roosevelt Cash. Jr., four; his 16-month-old brother Theodore and their sister, Marian ,two.

The grandfather was Thomas Cash. All were Negroes living in Key West.
