By the Paris papers which have now come to hand down to the date of the 7th instant, it appears, that since the execution of Robespierre and his more immediate accomplices, not less than seventy attached to the cause have been brought to the guillotine—the week before, near an hundred suffered.
Some particulars not yet published are, that when Robespierre was denounced by Tallien, and ordered to be arrested, the younger Robespierre said, "I am guilty as my brother—I partake of his virtues. I therefore desire to be included in the decree of arrest." He was so, and was executed, as was Couthon, and St. Just, who also wished to be thus included.
When Chaumette was guillotined, he laid down his head, and only said. Chacun a son tour—"Every one has his turn."
