Full Text
The Journal has announced the ticket which is to be nominated by the Democratic County Convention next fall. Our Democratic friends ought to be very grateful for this act of disinterested kindness on the part of the abolition organ; but if it is as wide of the mark as it was in making a Democratic State ticket, somebody will be disappointed. By the way, as the Journal has undertaken to run the Democratic party, perhaps it would be as well for us to dispense with a nominating convention altogether.
