LONDON, March 4.

A French bark is driven into Loo harbour, without any living creature on board; 170 casks of white and red wine, a few casks of rum and nine barrels of prunes, are landed: but the vessel or master's name not known.

Yesterday a cause was brought on before Lord Mansfield, in the King's Bench at Guildhall, between a Lady, plaintiff, and a Gentleman, defendant, for 2000l. being the penalty of a bond given by the defendant, in case he should marry any other person than the plaintiff, which it appeared he had done ten years after his giving the bond, the jury (which was a special one) gave a verdict for the plaintiff, for the whole sum.
