New York Court of Sessions.—Yesterday, in this Court, Judge Ingraham presiding, came on the trial of Barney Corse, impleaded with James Gibbons, Henry Clark, David Ruggles and Isaac T. Hopper, in the old matter of Thomas Hughes, the slave of Mr. Darg, and the felonious abstraction of that gentleman's money. Mr. Corse is charged as an accessory to the robbery, after the fact. The circumstances of this affair have been so often published that it is not needful to repeat them here.
The amount of money stolen was about $5000, of which all but $1500 has been recovered by Mr. Darg. Tom, the slave, has been tried for robbery and is now in the state prison.
Mr. Darg and Justice Merritt were examined yesterday, and the trial is continued this morning.—N. Y. Am
