Poison Gas Cures A Cat. A New Cure For Pneumonia. What?
NEW YORK. Aug 25(AP)-A woman had a pet cat ill of pneumonia.
Hoping to end its suffering. she told the Greater New York Safety Council, she put the cat in a basket between two cars in a garage. Then she started both motors and locked the doors.
Thirty minutes later she peered into the carbon monoxide-filled garage. The cat appeared improved. She waited another 30 minutes and looked in.
When she opened the doors, the cat marched out apparently well.
