RAILROAD ACCIDENT.—On Monday morning, the 7:14 o'clock passenger train from Boston for Providence and New Bedford, came in collision with a freight train, which was standing on the main track at Sharon Switch, throwing the engine, tender, and baggage car of the passenger train off the track, and causing about $1000 damage. The freight train was not seen in time to prevent the collision, and it is stated that it had no right to be on the main track at that time and place. Fortunately, no one was injured.—Boston Journal.
