TEENS' TALK

Due to reasons beyond my control we might not have a TEEN TALK next week, but I will be back two weeks from now with a bigger and better TEEN TALK.
Coming in my next column The St. Paul Birdie, a section devoted to St. Paul young people.
RECORDS
Last week the industry was dry, but this week things are happening so fast I can't keep up with them all. During the summer months Ray Charles put out a song called "Without Love." Most people liked it but it just didn't have that certain something to make it sell. Now it is selling very very well.
On The Jazz Scene: Kenny Burrell has a single called "Wavy Gravy" that is taken from the album "Midnight Blue".
The record to get has just come out! It's called "The James Brown Show" recorded live at the Apollo theatre in Harlem!
Quite often I pick up record charts and find records that I, as well as my friends can't stand in the top 10. Well, to remedy this I am holding a record popularity poll every week at Jet Record and T.V.
Please come in and vote for the record you think should be No. 1.
I'll be there at 3 p.m. every Saturday with free records to give away. You might be one of the lucky teens to get one. Last Saturday I gave a free record to the first person to vote in our poll. YOU could be next.
