Full Text

MR. Blaine is now in New York exhibiting his excellent physical condition and keeping remarkably silent as to his candidacy for the Presidency. He has positively declined the nomination, but that was some time ago and he may have changed his mind since then. There is nothing impossible about this. He is by far the strongest candidate the Republican Convention at Minneapolis could name, and there would only be greater credit to the Democratic party in defeating him.
