March 10. Letters from Madrid advise that the Jesuits were carried off from Peru with the same precautions as those of the same order were from the other states of his Catholic Majesty, and that there were found in their college of Quito some interesting papers concerning the revolt which happened at Madrid on Palm Sunday in 1766.
