DUBLIN, July 23.—The king received a large number of addresses at Dublin castle today. In replying to the address of the citizens' committee he said that he had always been in sympathy with the advance of the social and material interests of Ireland. He hoped during his visit to become thoroughly acquainted with the actual conditions under which the people live and work.
