Beach Suit Against NAACP Dismissed
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Circuit Court Judge Theodore Cabot this week dismissed a suit brought by this city against the NAACP branch and its officers for its efforts to integrate a segregated public beach.
Judge Cabot rejected the city's contention that the Association and its officers were using the beach for wade-ins in order to create a public disturbance, thus endangering "the right of all to peaceful and equal use of the public beach"
At the same time the magistrate issued an injunction against two
